DOVER POOL PRODUCTS AQUA-BRELLA™ 10 YEAR PRORATED WARRANTY
This warranty, properly completed and signed by the original purchaser, warrants to the original purchaser at the original installation site, that the DOVER POOL PRODUCTS AQUA-BRELLA™SAFETY COVER is free from defects in workmanship and material under normal use, service and conditions, and only when installation has been properly done by qualified people. Our responsibility under this warranty shall be limited to (at our option) supplying a replacement – at no charge – or repairing any part or parts, that we deem defective within 25 months of the original factory shipping date.
We also warrant to the original purchaser for whom this DOVER POOL PRODUCTS AQUA-BRELLA™ SAFETY COVER is originally installed, that if it is proven to our satisfaction that the original DOVER POOL PRODUCTS AQUA-BRELLA™ SAFETY COVER fails under normal use, service and conditions, and if such notification is made in WRITING within TEN years of the factory shipping date, we will supply a replacement DOVER POOL PRODUCTS AQUA-BRELLA™ SAFETY COVER of same or similar type, to such original owner at a percentage of the current DOVER POOL PRODUCTS AQUA-BRELLA™ SAFETY COVER list price as follows:
The PURCHASER pays 1/120 for each month or partial month, of the current DOVER POOL PRODUCTS AQUA-BRELLA™ SAFETY COVER list price for the replacement cover, and a 10% service and handling charge.
All repairs or replacements are F.O.B. DOVER POOL PRODUCTS’s factory, and DOVER POOL PRODUCTS is not liable for freight, installation, service or labor charges.
This warranty is in lieu of any other warranty, either expressed or implied, and in lieu of any other obligation or liability on our part, and we neither assume nor authorize any person to assume on our behalf any other obligation or liability in connection with the sale of this product. No warranty is given if the DOVER POOL PRODUCTS AQUA-BRELLA™ SAFETY COVER to which this warranty applies, has been subject to abuse, accident, alteration, misuse, neglect, coping wear, drag holes, hole, punctures, intense external thermal reaction (fire, heat, etc.), or if the water level of the pool drops more than 18 inches below the pool top during the winter season. Damage caused by wind, storm or any other acts of God are also not covered. This warranty will not remain in effect if the use of a standard or rectangular cover is used on an odd or irregular shaped pool. Solid covers without mesh drains use pumps to remove excess water from the cover. Pumps must be used at all times when solid covers without drains are installed on the pool. Excess water can weigh down the cover and stress the seams beyond their tolerable limits which will not be covered under this warranty.
This warranty will apply within the continental limits of the 48 contiguous states of the United States of America.
